Type a name for the signature (i.e., VeriSign HTML), and then click OK or Next, depending on your version of Outlook.
Select all the information below the double lines found at the bottom of these instructions and copy it.
Go back to Outlook and paste it into the Signature Text box.
If you are using Outlook 2003, click on Advanced Edit to follow the next 2 steps. If you are using Outlook 2007, you may continue to the next step without using Advanced Edit.
Using your mouse, highlight the first line and verify in the editing window that the font setting is Arial 10 - if it is not, use the drop down boxes to set the font to Arial and the size to 10.
Highlight the rest of the signature and verify that the font setting is Arial 9. Again, if it is not, use the dropdown boxes to set the font to Arial and the size to 9.
Click Apply or Save, depending on your version of Outlook.
You can preview your signature from the Edit Signature dialog box and make any edits or updates.
In the Choose default signature section, if it is not already selected, select the signature you just created (i.e., VeriSign HTML) for the New messages: dropdown menu. You have the option to select your signature for new messages and/or replies/forwards.
Click OK.
Test by opening a new email message to compose. You should see your signature in the body of the email. Send the email as a test. Note: You may want to send the message to an email account outside the company to see how it looks.
